Carnival Cruise to Cozumel , Belize and Roatan

 

And we are off! First to get Connie Esparza and then to Galveston for a 7 day Caribbean cruise!

Two days later we arrive in Cozumel . We park right next another Carnival Ship

Sailed all night to get to Belize

 

 

Belize did not have a Pier for the ship to dock so we had to take a Taxi boat into Belize . The ride was five miles to shore

I had the opportunity to Honor the Garcia Gold Star Family and the Heroes of the 281st and the 48th A.H.C.

 

We had the Honor to represent our Heroes . Great Tribute to our Armed Forces . I had the opportunity to acknowledge the Garcia  Gold Star Family . We honored the Joker 99 crew Ricardo M. Garcia , Fred Cristman ,and  Jon Sparks . May they rest in Peace . We also Honored the brave heroes of the 282st A.H.C. Darly Evangelho and Duane Brudvig ( R.I.P.) were shot down in Vietnam on Thanksgiving Day 1969 . Thanks to  Bob George ( Pilot)and his crew for making that Heroic landing to  picked our brothers .God Bless Robert George and may he Rest In Peace . Robert George lost his Battle to cancer , another victim of Agent Orange . Hot Spot Indeed but he brought his brothers in Arms  to safety . God Bless these heroes. Salute ........Too !!!

When we Boarded the ship they asked us to try something we had not tried before and Berta tried Frog legs and snails

 

 

Well like they say all good thinks have to come to an end . We start back to Galveston .
